Nicole McGlothlin, I am from Des Moines, IA and currently living in Norwalk, IA

Tell me about your family.

My husband, Kevin, and I have been married to for 13 years this September. We have two very active little ones, Taylor, our daughter, who just turned 5 and Murphy, our son, who is 3 1/2.

When you’re not busy in real estate, what do you enjoy doing?

Spending time with friends and family. I love to stay busy so I am always on the go doing something fun or trying to plan our next event or vacation. Some of my favorite places to go are to Moab, Utah to go 4 wheeling or hanging out on the beach somewhere.

How long have you been a REALTOR®?

A little over a year.

What did you do before being a REALTOR®?

I was, and still am, helping my husband with his custom home building business, Sundance Homes. Prior to that, I worked in the mortgage industry as a loan originator for about 10 years.

Why did you choose C21®?

They are amazing. I met with Jenn [Clark] and Dylan [de Bruin] and just knew that it felt like the place I wanted to grow and learn. Their goal is genuine and they are very passionate about helping you become the most successful agent you can and want to be.

What do you like about the culture here at C21®?

It is so fun, happy and upbeat. Walking into the office it feels like you are at home and everyone there is happy to see you and ready to help.

What tools do you find helpful for your business?

First and foremost, the staff, they have made my transition as smooth as it could possibly be imagined. In addition to that, they have so many options, and I love options, that will help me learn and grow.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Des Moines/Ankeny/Ames?

I love the South of Grand and Beaverdale area the most. There is so much history to it and just an overall uniqueness of home styles and architecture to them.

What are 3 words your clients would use to describe you?

Genuine, patient and an educator

Any advice for new agents?

If you are not at C21®, you need to be 🙂 I would say that the most important thing is to use your resources and your team. There are so many people here and they are willing to help you just have to ask.

Why are you passionate about being a REALTOR®?

I love to help people in any aspect I can. Being a REALTOR®, you get to know your clients so personally and really get to be a part of the biggest and one of the best purchases they make in their life. I love to be a part of researching and educating them to make sure we are getting them the best property for their needs. There is nothing better than seeing their excitement when they have found the one.
