We would like to welcome Lindsey Dacey to our Ankeny team. Lindsey has been in real estate for a few years, and is excited to join our growing team of agents and staff. We asked Lindsey a few questions to get to know her a little bit better:

Where are you from?
I am not sure if I want to say where I am from 😉 Let’s just say NW Iowa.

Tell me about your family.
My husband and I live in NE Ankeny, we have been married for 10 years. I have a 5 year old daughter Alivia, and a little boy on the way anytime, most of my family lives in Ankeny or central Iowa.

I don’t really have any hobbies but things I enjoy. Enjoy attending & cheering on Iowa State sporting events, spending a lot of time at Clear Lake in the summer, reading books, walking to the local parks and playing games with my daughter.

What did you do before being a Realtor®?
Prior to real estate, I had taken time away from sales to stay home with my daughter.  I have always been in sales and enjoy working with people, my degree from Iowa State in Housing & past sales experience as a New Home Specialist for a home builder in the Chicago area lead me to my true passion for real estate and helping people make their dreams come true!

What is your favorite neighborhood in Des Moines/Ankeny/Ames?
A couple of my favorite area’s in the area are Ankeny because of the amenities it has to offer, schools, parks, trails, easy commute to DSM or Ames. Even though I live and office in Ankeny I will go wherever my clients need me,  Beaverdale is an area that I have spent a lot of time in and love the character of homes!

What would you like your future clients to know about you?
Relationship building and providing a professional but fun experience for my clients is key for both my success & my clients overall experience.  I am a dedicated agent, client focused and will always have my clients in best interest.  My client relationships do not end at the closing, you will have a Realtor® for Life when you work with me!

Why did you choose to be a Century 21® agent?
The unbeatable education, the on going trainings offered are very impressive that sets you up for success, the culture and teamwork of agents, the work/life balance is very supportive and the technology that C21® offers for both their agents and clients is top notch to smooth line the processes of a transaction.

What do you like about the culture here at C21®?
The culture I have experienced at C21® in a short period of time has been very inviting, everyone is very welcoming and ready to help with any questions. The office atmosphere & meetings are fun and everyone seems to share ideas and provide a team atmosphere.

What tools do you find helpful for your business?
The tools that I have found to be helpful in my business is my CRM, which allows me to stay in contact with past, current and future clients. Dotloop saves a lot of time and allows all parties to sign on the go. Paperless is the direction of the industry and C21® is already there!

What do you like about the team meetings / C21® Connect / Signature Round Table?
The discussions and topics at team meetings and round tables are very informative, agents are speaking out on various topics, concerns, success’s that help other agents that might have the same questions/situation.

Why are you passionate about being a Realtor®?
I LOVE what I do and I am very passionate about my real estate career! Everyday is a new day filled with opportunities, challenges and the unknowns. Buying or selling a home can be a very stressful time along with the largest investment someone makes. As a realtor I am passionate to provide the highest level of client services from the first time I meet my buyers & sellers. Taking the time in building the relationship & trust from the start, listening to my clients needs/wants is key to be able to provide the highest level of services. I love handing over the keys at a closing and seeing the smiles from my clients, knowing that they have a new place to call Home!

What is one area of real estate you really enjoy?
I enjoy working with first time home buyers, educating first time home buyers on the buying process is something that I enjoy, this sets up the transaction for success sets expectations from the beginning and leads to a successful closing! Building the trusted relationship and communication from beginning to end also has increased my referral base from many of my first time home buyers.
