About Jennifer:
What is your name, where are you from, and where do you currently live?
My name is Jen Harman, and I’m excited to join the C21 team! I’ve lived in Iowa my entire life, and grew up in the towns of Corning, Avoca, Glenwood, and Boone. I attended Iowa State University and moved to Des Moines after graduation. I have called Johnston home for 13 years now!
I have an amazingly supportive husband, Todd. We met when we both started a new job on the same day, got engaged in Paris and married a few months later in Cozumel. Eight years ago we adopted our Boxer, Stella–she loves playing with her friends at Dog Days and Cat Naps in Johnston, puppy lattes, and cuddling.
Todd and I help with our family’s business, Walnut Ridge Farm in Indianola growing Christmas trees. We also enjoy travelling to see concerts, most recently Queen in Nashville and the Rolling Stones at the Rose Bowl in California. We’ve seen the Eagles 4 times in 12 months, and Billy Idol almost too many times to count (6–the answer is 6 times). We love music and everything vintage, and have put the two hobbies together by curating a great collection of 45 records for our jukebox.
I have always worked in finance–with student loans, auto, and home loans. I have most recently been an underwriter and lending manager for mortgage loans including refinance, purchase, renovation, and home equity products.
I am looking forward to serving all metro Des Moines locations. I have previously lived in Ankeny, Clive, West Des Moines, Beaverdale, Johnston, Downtown, and the Southside. They all have something special to offer!
