We would like to welcome Ellie Miller to our team of agents in Ankeny! “I’ve always wanted to dance to the beat of my own drum and I think this career is the perfect opportunity. With our big family, it’s nice to know I’ll be able to be there for my family just as much as I’ll be there for each of my clients. I want to be a part of my client’s major milestones, as well as my family’s, and what a great way to do it!” said Miller.

Welcome to the team, Ellie!

A little about Ellie:

What is your name, where are you from, and where do you currently live?

My name is Elysia Miller, friends and family call me Ellie. I’m from Des Moines, Iowa, and currently live in Ankeny. Between my boyfriend and I, we have a lot going on at home. I like to refer to our kids as “a small army!” His name is Gabe. He has 3 beautiful girls of his own from his previous marriage. I also have a 9 year old daughter and a 7 year old son who joined the family. Last year we welcomed baby number 6, Leo Gabriel, who is now 8 months old. Between his kids and mine, we are blessed to have a ton of help with the baby!

Hobbies?
As much as we love to take trips all over, hanging out at home is just as fun. There is always something going on! I’m a summer girl, so being in the sun, boating, swimming or just hanging out on the beach is where I love to be.
What did you do before being a realtor?
I’ve been a stay at home mom for the better part of the last few years. So I’m really excited to get back out into the work field and see where it takes me.
What is your favorite neighborhood in Des Moines/Ankeny/Ames/Cedar Valley/Pella?
Before I moved to Ankeny, I lived in the Waterbury area in Des Moines, which I adored. It was a beautiful part of Des Moines and always peaceful. As much as I loved Waterbury, I’d have to say Bella Woods, next to Prarie Trail in Ankeny, where I currently live is just as beautiful. The schools are great and the neighborhood never stops growing and getting better.
Why did you choose to be a Century 21 agent?
I chose Century 21 because from the moment I walked through the door it felt like something I wanted to be a part of. From Brittani at the front desk to my 1st interview with Audrey, I knew it was a place that I would feel comfortable at and somewhere that would push me to be the best agent I can be. Between all of the people I have working with me and on my side to teach me everything I need to know, I don’t see how I could’ve picked a different team.
What are 3 words your (friends and family) would use to describe you?
Three word my friends and family would use to describe me would be Caring, Dependable and committed.
Any advice for new agents?
Don’t stop until you get where you want to be and after that, just keep thriving to be better. I think with new agents or experienced agents, there will always be more things to learn and more experiences to gain from.
Why are you passionate about being a realtor?

I’ve always wanted to dance to the beat of my own drum and I think this career is the perfect opportunity. With our big family, it’s nice to know I’ll be able to be there for my family just as much as I’ll be there for each of my clients. I want to be a part of my client’s major milestones, as well as my family’s, and what a great way to do it!
