We would like to welcome Ashley Augustine to our Cedar Falls office! “ I love real estate, because a realtor puts a smile on my face every day. I love doing what I do, I love the smile on a buyers face when they find the perfect home, I love the excitement a seller gets when they get an offer, I love the questions that require me to stay educated, I love the art in showing a home.” said Augustine.

Welcome to the team, Ashley!

A little about Ashley:

What is your name, where are you from, and where do you currently live?

I’m from Waterloo/Cedar Falls Area but currently live in Fredericksburg IA. My family is large, I am a proud mother of 4 boys; Kayden 11, Izzah 10, Callan 7, and Ares 4. My husbands name is Jeremy and we have been married 4 years July 18th. We stay very active in school sports, youth sports, and everyday life.

Hobbies?

My hobbies are reading books quietly and to the boys however I’ve been slacking the last couple of months 🙂 And all my boys hobbies. Oh Zombie Movies!!

What did you do before being a realtor?

I worked for the United States Post office in New Hampton IA as a city carrier. That took me to different towns as well such as Charles City and Sumner. I also worked in the Waterloo Plant for a short time.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Des Moines/Ankeny/Ames/Cedar Valley/Pella?

I don’t have a favorite neighborhood. I love them all, they all have a differently beauty to it from houses, to people, to parks, and so on. However, I do have a favorite Restaurant in Des Moines Zombie Burger.

Why did you choose to be a Century 21 agent?
Well I wanted to be able to grow my business and offer my expertise to smaller towns. With my knowledge I feel I can be a better asset to the smaller town. And with Century 21 I felt I could achieve that goal. I’m really liking Zap and I can’t wait to get more into it.
What are 3 words your (friends and family) would use to describe you?

From reviews they say, knowledgeable, fun, and patient.

Any advice for new agents?

My advice to new agents is be yourself, be honest, and don’t treat your clients like they are your paycheck. Know your market, listen to other agents, and clients, be positive even when it gets rough, and enjoy the art in the house. You don’t sell a house, a house sells itself, you provide quality relationships.

Why are you passionate about being a realtor?

I love real estate, because a realtor puts a smile on my face everyday. I love doing what I do, I love the smile on a buyers face when they find the perfect home, I love the excitement a seller gets when they get an offer, I love the questions that require me to stay educated, I love the art in showing a home.
