What did you do before real estate?
Before real estate, I worked for John Deere Financial for 26 years in a variety of positions.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Racine, Wisconsin, and now I live in Urbandale.
What’s your family like?
I have a wife and two daughters. My wife and I have been married for just over three years.
What are your hobbies?
Golf, photography and reading.
Any fun facts to know?
I’m the youngest of six kids! I’ve got five older sisters.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
What is your dream vacation?
Somewhere on a beach.
If you weren’t in real estate, what would your dream job be?
Something on a beach.
What is your Starbucks order?
I don’t go to Starbucks.
What do you like to drink?
Coca-Cola and a variety of different beers.
Cats or dogs?
Both, we’ve got a cat and a dog.
What show are you binge watching right now?
‘Peaky Blinders’ and mostly live sports.
What kind of music do you listen to?
All kinds! I’m a big fan of progressive rock from the ’70s and ’80s, but all kinds.
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Depends on the situation.
What is the last book you read?
The last book I read was ‘The Holographic Universe.’
What is your favorite dessert?
I would have to go with cherry pie.
What’s on your bucket list?
It’s going to probably be something on a beach!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Loyal and funny. That’s all I’ve got!
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
What’s your favorite neighborhood?
I really like the west side of Urbandale, near Waukee. That’s where I live and it’s just a great part of town.
Why real estate?
I’ve always been interested in it. I decided after I retired from John Deere that I still wanted to work but I wanted to work for myself instead of somebody else.
CENTURY 21’s values really resonated with me, especially developing relationships and relationships being the core of the business.
