MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Before we meet you – meet us!
Before real estate, I was a 2nd-grade teacher. I have had my license since 2014 and am now the Agent Development Director with Century 21 Signature Real Estate. I feel blessed to do what I do every day because I truly enjoy helping agents build their real estate businesses.
I started my career in real estate when I was 19. I work as the New Agent Success Coach at Century 21 Signature Real Estate. I am passionate about equipping new agents with the tools and systems they need to start building a successful real estate career.
My decision was the right one for me... I don't want to mislead anyone; it does take time to transition so my first house closing was at about the six-month mark from when I left my previous job... But best decision hands down. The work is rewarding and the hours are fantastic, it is whatever you want to make it. For someone who likes to work sixty hours a week go do it and for those who want to work twenty hours a week you can do it but you won't make as much money. So whatever you put into it is what you are going to get out.
Looking back on my decision I think it's probably one of the best decisions I've ever made - deciding to get into real estate. I think this job really suits me. I learn something new every day and I have fun every day. There are also challenges every day but that's part of the fun too.
Looking back on my decision to get into real estate - I definitely enjoy it. Overall I get to make a difference in the lives of a lot of people and get to be a part of my community which is huge for me. The flexibility to be able to go to kids events if they have stuff during the day... or if they need to stay home from school I can take them with me to work or stay home with them - so the flexibility there is definitely nice.
With fifteen years under my belt, I do feel like this is the place where I am supposed to be. The relationships that are created through this business are super important to me - that is really what drives me. The ability to make your own schedule is important especially with two little kids but also kind of making boundaries for yourself and your family is really important as well.
