Real estate is a wonderfully complex industry. There’s nothing quite so fulfilling as a career as an agent. It gives you the opportunities to build meaningful relationships, help clients through important life events and gives you the freedom to build a business that impacts and improves the lives of others. We believe relationships are always the most valuable parts of a business but there’s no doubt that a successful real estate career can yield significant profit. That’s why we think it’s important you know about a brokerage’s comp plans upfront.
In the interest of transparency, we want to share our comp plans so you know exactly how much you could make as an agent with CENTURY 21 Signature Real Estate.
The C21SRE Commission Plans
We offer two commission plans: the Relentless Plan and the Kickstart Plan.
Both plans are designed to empower you and keep as much profit in your pocket as possible. These competitive commission splits, combined with our training, coaching, support, and tools, set you up for success and increase your earning potential- whether you’re an experienced veteran or a new agent just starting out.
The Relentless Plan
The majority of our agents are on the Relentless Plan. You’ll start at a 90% commission split until you reach $200,000 in gross commission income (GCI) at which point you will move up to a 100% commission split. On this plan, you’ll pay a monthly fee of $350 and for each transaction pay a flat transaction fee and a 6% franchise fee.

How Much Will I Make on the Relentless Plan?
Let’s break down what you could expect to make in a year as a C21® agent on the Relentless Plan. In this example, we’ll assume that in a year, you helped 20 clients buy homes that averaged a $200,000 sale price. Take a look at what your estimated annual income would be:
The Kickstart Plan
The Kickstart Plan is designed to help new agents get started in real estate. You’ll start at a 70% commission split with a monthly fee of $100. The set transaction fee is lower but the 6% C21® franchise fee remains the same.
If you’re just starting off in real estate and working to build up your business, you may find the Kickstart Plan is the most financially feasible at first. The good news? Anyone on the Kickstart Plan can move up to the Relentless Plan at any point- no matter where you are in your career!

How Much Will I Make on the Kickstart Plan?
Let’s break down what you could expect to make in a year as a C21® agent on the Kickstart Plan. For this example, we’ll show you two different scenarios.
Scenario #1
Let’s assume you’re a new agent who helped eight clients buy homes that averaged a $200,000 sale price. This is what your estimated gross annual income would be:
Scenario #2
In this scenario, you’re a newer agent who helped eight clients buy homes that averaged a $200,000 sale price. For this example, we’ll say you worked on the Kickstart Plan for the first five clients but moved to the Relentless Plan for the last three clients. Take a look at what your estimated annual income would be:
There’s nothing simple about a career in real estate, but your comp plan shouldn’t be secret or difficult to understand. We’re sharing the Century 21 Signature Real Estate commission plans because we think you should know exactly what your earning potential is with us. Regardless of which plan you choose, you’ll be empowered and supported to build a successful real estate business that works for you.
What other costs are required from new agents? Do you require all agents to join the local/state/national realtor association? and MLS? Does a new agent need these memberships from the get go?
